Do You Have Faith?

April 26th, 2010

I am coaching a mastermind group on FAITH today.  It really gets me thinking about things I have in my life that I have received.

  • How did I get them?
  • How did I know to keep working towards these goals without any knowledge whether I would receive them or not?
  • What was the difference between the things I have received or achieved and the things I didn’t?

What do you think is the difference?

What have you achieved in your life?  What was your state of mind?

“Faith is the starting point for everything you achieve in your life.  Faith is the basis of all ‘miracles’ and all mysteries which cannot be analyzed by the rules of science” Napoleon Hill.

Think about the results you have in your life that you DON’T like.  What thoughts or faith have you been putting towards them?  Do you have enough money?  Did you have faith that the money would come to you?  Do you have a great relationship with your kids?  Did you think you WOULD have one?

What is going on in your thoughts?  This is in total alignment with what you have going on in your present results.  Look at this picture on the right.  If you are on the bottom stair to success and you have an idea or a goal that will bring you to the top of the stairway – what is going to get you there?  Usually when we have a goal, we don’t know all the steps of how we are going to achieve it.   So, take the first step and Faith fills the rest!  Step up into faith and the physical steps to achieving your goal will be revealed to you in the perfect timing.

MAY CHALLENGE:  Write down your goals that you would like to achieve by the end of May.  Repeat these goals out loud at least twice every day.  Begin to imagine having achieved them.

Faith will get you there!

What Do You Mean I Am Insane?

April 20th, 2010

Am I Crazy?

Have you ever heard of the definition of insanity – “Doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.”

I want you to pick a result that you have in your life right now that you DON’T like.

Do you have one in mind?

Great!  (Some people might pick their weight).  Now, think about the actions you are doing to get this result.  Are you eating too much cookie dough?  (I might be guilty of this particular action!)  Are you working out?

So, the actions you have identified above – that are done on a consistent basis – will be in alignment with the results you are receiving.  No surprises right?  With the weight example, what actions are you taking on a daily basis?  If you are at a weight you do not like then what actions have you been taking to get here.

The fun part of this is that you have CONTROL over what results you can have tomorrow!  I am serious!  Start to take the actions that will lead you to the results you want tomorrow!

If you are a parent and you want a better relationship with your kids – well stop picking on what you don’t like and see what you love about them!!  If you want more money – then spend less or make more.  If you want your perfect weight – then eat less and workout more!  It IS that simple!  Let’s define our insanity by doing the same thing over and over again to get what we WANT!!

Raise Confident Teenagers in 2010!

January 11th, 2010

What is one of the biggest things that gets in the way of raising confident teenagers?  Could it be the parent’s confidence?  This is the largest obstacle that stops us from raising confident kids.  If our parents were not able to raise us with confidence then how can we teach our kids to grow up with confidence?   Add the fact that there are so many stresses that families face today: job security, debt, health, relationship issues, etc…  How do parents manage this if they do not have a strong self image? Plus parents are fighting against all the teenage stresses including drugs, alcohol, driving, internet predators and just plain ole respect.

There is one really simple recipe to grow the confidence of the whole family!  We mix a little improved self image along with a bunch of happiness, then we throw in gratitude and a super outlook to create some amazing results!  As the confidence and happiness of the family grows - everyone benefits!

We can all take part in improving families and especially teenagers confidence by learning some very key tools.  Join a  free webinar this week being offered two times for your convenience ($49 value).
